SCA 0081 — Amphore crétoise Céramique

Petite amphore à fond bombé, terminé en pointe. La panse cylindrique se rétrécit au niveau du col cylindrique, le bord est droit, les anses coudées avec un « ergot ». Cette petite amphore à vin du Haut Empire est une imitation crétoise d’une amphore rhodienne. Exportée jusqu’en Gaule, elle est également attestée en Haute-Égypte et l’on peut penser qu’Alexandrie était un point de transit avant sa destination finale.
